The Study of the ideas of life, love, and death as seen through some of Edgar Allan Poe's poems

This thesis analyzes the ideas of life, love, and
death as seen through Edgar Allan Poe's poems.The
analysis deals with eleven poems.Ten of those poems
present Poe's ideas about life, love, and death, and
one poem is used to clarify the reason why Poe and the
speakers in his poems have tendency to live in dreams.
All of the ideas revealed through this thesis
reflects Poe's own ideas.The study of the idea of
life reveals his idea that real life is disappointing.
His idea that human nature is to love is revealed
through the study of the idea of love in many of h i s
poems.The study of the idea of death covers the topic
about his idea that death is not something frightening
because it is a natural thing.
