Dantes?s vengeance upon his enemies, particularly his character change before the denunciation, after the denunciation, and after the revenge would be the core discussion in this thesis. Dantes, a simple and soft-hearted sailor, is wrongfully denounced and later he seeks revenge upon his enemies. Thus, the thesis writer aims to figure out whether there is a character change in Dantes before and after the denunciation, and after the revenge.
