Incomplete: a screenplay raising awareness towards postpartum depression

This thesis explores the topic of postpartum depression (PPD) that could occur to new mothers and the significance of family support in the recovery process. The study investigates the physical and psychosocial factors that contribute to PPD, including exhaustion and lack of support from the husband. Drawing on the theories of Herawati Mansur S. ST., M.Pd., M.Psi. and Temu Budiarti S.Pd., M.Kes. on the causes of PPD, as well as Cheryl Tatano Beck D.N.Sc., C.N.M., F.A.A.N. 's stages of PPD, the screenplay delves into the journey of the main character, a mother who experiences PPD. It depicts a compelling drama, highlighting the challenges faced by the main character and the ways in which healthcare systems and family support can aid in her recovery.
