- Abstract
- King's Cross is being transformed. A once derelict and inaccessible area in the hear of London is becoming a vibrant new neighborhood, thanks to the efforts of King's Cross Central Limited Partnership and all those who are working with it.
A lot has been achieved and there is still much to do. This first volume in a series looks at the 21 projects in the King's Cross area that are now complete. Later volumes will cover the projects that are still to come.
This publication presents the projects in the form of a walking tour which you can follow on the map that wraps this cover. As well as descriptions of buildings and public spaces, written by those responsible for their design and delivery, there are additional places to look at, to eat and drink in, and even to shop. Enjoy the walk.
