The impact of corporate governance to stock return through profitability in property and construction industry and mining industry in Indonesia

This study aims to observe the influence of corporate governance on stock return. This research is conducted on companies from the property and construction and mining industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and has published annual reports from 2014 to 2018. This research will search for 160 reports consists of 32 companies from both industries from 5 years period. Corporate governance will mainly discuss board ownership and board independence, which act as the independent variable. Stock return is the dependent variable with the mediating variable of profitability. There is a total of 3 hypotheses that will be tested in this research. The data analysis will be done using WarpPls. The result of this study is various.
