The impact of profitability, leverage, and company size to earning management (manufacture BEI period of 2015-2019)

This study was conducted in order to investigate the effect of the influence of profitability on leverage and firm size on earnings management of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Regarding the company's financial performance, researchers will measure it based on the Dow Jones Model. Regarding corporate governance, there are 3 independent variables that will be used in this research study, which consist of Profitability, Leverage, and Company Size. In addition, this research is also focused on companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange during 2015-2019 and of course engaged in the Manufacturing sector. In terms of analytical techniques, this research will prioritize the use of SPPS software in order to achieve relevant results.
