Finally, this study concludes the result of Ezeulu's struggle in defending his belief and Umuaro against the British influence. In the end of Ezeulu's struggle, Ezeulu wonders of his belief because of
the incident which has caused the death of his lovely son, Obika during the ritual ceremony in Amalu's funeral. The death of Obika lessen Ezeulu's faith toward his god, although at first, Ezeulu always adores Ulu as his adorable god, and Ezeulu always believes in Ulu's power and influence.
