The Impact of degree of internationalization of German based global family businesses towards financial performance

Existing studies explaining the relationship between Degree of
Internationalization and Financial Performance has generated non-conclusive
result. Highlighting the importance of institutional context and multidimensionality
of Degree of internationalization as the possible reasons of such result, this research
uses 9 German Based Global Family Businesses for the period of2010-2014 as the
sample in order to find the "right" relationship between the two concepts.
Using simple and multiple linear regression analysis, this research aims to
examine whether Degree of Internationalization has significant influence towards
Financial performance in the scope of German Based Global Family Businesses.
Also, this research seeks to find which factor of German Based Global Family
Businesses' Degree of Internationalization influences their Financial Performance
the most.
The findings of this research indicate two things. First, Degree of
Internationalization of German Based Global Family Businesses has positive
significant influence towards Financial Performance Second, Foreign Asset to Total
Asset ratio is the significantly most influencing factor of German Based Global
Family Businesses' Degree of internationalization.
